The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Sam Margolis and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Daniel darts in looking for a takedown but Barber gets double underhooks and turns Daniel into the cage.
Daniel shoots in for a double leg but Barber sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Daniel shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Barber as he jumps to the side.
Barber goes for a double leg but Daniel avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Daniel continues to drive forward.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Gilbert Barber.
