Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Zach Makovsky!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Yas Uru!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Yukihiro Shimada and Ren Mimura.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Uru works Makovsky's body with a nice hook.
Uru misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Makovsky.
Makovsky shoots for a takedown but Uru saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Makovsky throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Uru now looks to counter with a shot at the body.

Makovsky is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Uru's half guard.
Uru is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Makovsky scores with a couple of nice shots.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.

Uru is fighting to break Makovsky's control of his arms but Makovsky is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
Makovsky has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Makovsky throws a looping overhand right but Uru ducks down to avoid it.
