Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ikki De Fenix (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Antonio Zarco (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). De Fenix comes to the cage accompanied by Killing Inside. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
12 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ikki De Fenix! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
9 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Antonio Zarco! The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Yuuki Gou and Shigeki Sano.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! De Fenix takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. A shot to the liver by Zarco. Beautiful body shot. Zarco throws a shot to the body.
Zarco connects with a body shot. De Fenix misses with a wild combination.
De Fenix uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. Zarco keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
De Fenix throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Zarco sees it coming and avoids it easily. Zarco raises up his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick. Zarco misses with a hook. Zarco misses with a kick to the body and De Fenix counters with a right hand to the body. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! De Fenix misses with a head kick.
Zarco pushes De Fenix away with a front kick. Zarco moves out of range of the body kick from De Fenix.
That's one minute gone in the round. Zarco lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. The fighters circling - De Fenix throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Zarco uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before De Fenix has time to react. A big right from Zarco misses. De Fenix throws a quick counter kick to the body but Zarco avoids it. Antonio Zarco seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Zarco is looking to land body kicks. De Fenix blocks a jab. De Fenix misses with an uppercut
and Zarco makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Zarco throws a nice outside leg kick. Zarco misses with a right hand and De Fenix counters with a series of strikes. Zarco will be more careful next time no doubt. De Fenix misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Zarco lets loose with a powerful body kick. De Fenix will feel that in the morning. De Fenix is breathing heavily. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. De Fenix takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Zarco moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Zarco throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck De Fenix on the side of the head.
It looks like Ikki De Fenix has been cut. Zarco throws a hook to the side of De Fenix's head but De Fenix sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. De Fenix appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body. Zarco catches De Fenix with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! De Fenix on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Zarco. Zarco obviously looking to wear him down.
Zarco fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt De Fenix. Zarco avoids a punch combination nicely.
Zarco clinches up with De Fenix and pushes him back against the cage. Zarco lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage. De Fenix tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. De Fenix pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
That's three minutes gone in the round. De Fenix rushes Zarco and presses him up against the cage. De Fenix tries to throw a body punch but Zarco avoids it by throwing De Fenix back against the cage. Zarco blocks an uppercut.
De Fenix takes a knee to the side of the body. Zarco misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from De Fenix.
De Fenix misses with the head strike.
De Fenix breaks from the clinch.
Zarco rushes De Fenix and presses him up against the cage. Zarco working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely. De Fenix blocks a body shot from Zarco. Zarco tries to land a knee to the head but De Fenix blocks with his arms.
De Fenix swings wildly with an uppercut but Zarco uses good head movement to avoid it. A knee to the head by Zarco.
Zarco using the Thai plumb to throw knees but De Fenix has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
De Fenix misses with some punches.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Zarco lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of De Fenix backwards. This has been an exciting period of action! Zarco lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt De Fenix or not. A head punch on the inside from De Fenix fails to land. De Fenix can't break the clinch.

De Fenix on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Zarco looking to throw knees to the head but De Fenix is blocking nicely.

De Fenix misses with a shot to the kidneys.

Zarco cracks De Fenix with a nice body shot. De Fenix working aggressively here.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Antonio Zarco dominated that round. The cut man is working on Ikki De Fenix's cut. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
De Fenix looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. De Fenix takes the fight into the clinch. De Fenix lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Zarco. Zarco scores with a nice hook to the head. De Fenix tries to break the clinch but Zarco is controlling the position. De Fenix misses with the head strike.
De Fenix breaks from the clinch.
De Fenix throws a low kick but it's checked well by Zarco. Zarco throws a leg kick that misses. De Fenix seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. De Fenix takes a shot to the body in his stride.
De Fenix gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. De Fenix takes a knee to the side of the body. Zarco working De Fenix over with knees to the body. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Zarco lands a hook that snaps the head of De Fenix backwards.
That's one minute gone in the round. De Fenix throws a head punch that misses. De Fenix has a couple of punches blocked by Zarco.
Zarco lands with a short head shot on the inside. De Fenix swings away with an uppercut that misses.
De Fenix tries to work over Zarco's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Zarco tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
De Fenix tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Zarco has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Zarco misses with a punch to the body.
Antonio Zarco seems to be working more effectively in the clinch in the fight so far. De Fenix has a couple of punches blocked by Zarco.
A right hook to the body lands for Zarco.
De Fenix throws a head punch that misses. De Fenix misses with some punches.
Zarco lands on the inside with an uppercut. Zarco connects with a nasty looking knee right to De Fenix's face.
De Fenix is rocked! De Fenix tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Oh De Fenix is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Zarco lands an uppercut in the clinch that drops De Fenix to his knees! Zarco keeps firing more shots against his stricken opponent and the referee jumps in to save him!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:56 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Antonio Zarco! A less than humble Antonio Zarco misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities. Ikki De Fenix spoke after the fight, saying 'wasn´t my night but i will keep fighting until i get the belt'.
