Lazer comes to the ring accompanied by Major Lazer - Pon De Floor. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 19 - 23 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Alan Pitbull!
The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Shirou Masuda and Tatsuya Matsuyama.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A punch combination from Lazer misses.

Lazer closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Pitbull did well to prevent Lazer getting side control.
Pitbull is trying to stand up here but Lazer is controlling him well.
Lazer thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Pitbull's head.
Lazer has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Pitbull has hold of Lazer's hands but Lazer slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

Lazer postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

Pitbull is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Lazer defends well.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Pitbull holds on and takes a little breather.
Pitbull is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Lazer has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Pitbull is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Lazer is posturing up here but Pitbull has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Lazer tries to roll out but it's too tight and Lazer has to tap! Slick submission there by Pitbull!

An out of breath and clearly excited Alan Pitbull thanked Maximum Vitality for their help and support (and free stuff they sent him).
