Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Number Twenty One (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tyrell Spong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Number Twenty One had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Number Twenty One! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Tyrell Spong! The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Ian Loll and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Twenty One tries to clinch but Spong moves away and Spong counters with a series of strikes. Twenty One will be more careful next time no doubt. Spong lands a right hook to the body.
Spong gets a clinch. Twenty One is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Spong throws a knee to the head but misses.
Spong looking for a takedown. Spong is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Twenty One pulls him back up using the underhooks. Spong has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Twenty One uses from the top position. Spong escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Twenty One gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Spong pulls Twenty One in close to prevent any damage. Spong manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Twenty One manages to get himself to full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Twenty One keeping full guard, as Spong tries to pass. Spong slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Spong trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Twenty One wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Spong manages to pass to side control. Spong is thwarting Twenty One's attempts to control the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Spong with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Spong is working for a submission of some sort.
Twenty One knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Spong on the ground. Spong looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Spong's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Spong in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Twenty One tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Spong!
