Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, El Guappo!
The judges for this bout are Santiago Holmes, David Hoff and Michael Johnstone.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Toro displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Guappo.
Toro appears to be looking for a big counter.
Toro throws a head kick but Guappo moves out of range.
Toro misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Toro definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Guappo shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Toro's guard.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Toro is on top in guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Guappo is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Toro is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Toro has escaped and now he's on top!
Toro wants to stand but Guappo has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Guappo has his foot on Toro's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Toro works his way back into a safe position though.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Toro throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
El Toro is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Toro decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Toro has gone for a leg lock! Guappo slips out almost immediately though and dives into Toro's guard.

Toro tries to kick Guappo off but Guappo keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Guappo seems to be looking for submissions.
Guappo uses his free foot to push down on Toro's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Toro.

Guappo is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Toro has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Toro!
Guappo had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Toro defends it easily.

Toro wants to stand but Guappo is controlling his posture from full guard.

Guappo manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Toro manages to get himself to full guard.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Guappo stands and throws Toro's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Guappo thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Guappo tries to move into full mount but can't pass Toro's legs.

El Guappo showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
