The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Mauricio Rocha and Luis Engracia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Macedonschi leaves Collins with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Collins gets the takedown into side control.
Collins trying to control the action but Macedonschi is working from the bottom.
Macedonschi is pushing Collins's head away, looking to escape. Collins manages to hold on to the position though.
Collins working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Collins wants to control but Macedonschi is keeping him busy.
Collins thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Collins tries to score with some ground and pound. Macedonschi controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
Macedonschi wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!
Collins is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Macedonschi looks calm but he's in trouble here. Collins gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Macedonschi is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Collins lets go of the hold and Macedonschi can pop his arm back in it's socket.
