Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Buddy Clark (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Russel Miller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Buddy Clark! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Russel Miller! The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, James Glass and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Miller drives through with a takedown into Clark's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Miller won't allow Clark to get back to his feet. Miller stopping the sweep attempt from Clark. Clark keeping moving, preventing Miller from controlling successfully. Clark pulls Miller in close to prevent any damage. Miller stays in close to Clark's body and controls the position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Miller trying to control the position from guard on top but Clark is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Clark is on top in guard.
Miller looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Miller looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Clark passes into half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Clark seems to be looking for submissions.
Miller tries to get to full guard but Clark has control of the leg. Clark will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Miller strikes from the bottom but Clark uses the opportunity to move to side control.
The referee asks Clark politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Clark prefers to stall for the moment though. Clark stands up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Miller clinches with his opponent.
Miller keeps control of Clark as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Clark pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage. Clark managing to block the knees to the body from Miller.
Clark escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Clark shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Miller wants to control but Clark passes into side.
Clark is trying to get an arm triangle but Miller is defending well.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Miller is trying to work for a sweep but Clark has mounted him! Miller is looking to get to half guard. Clark is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Miller is surviving well by controlling Clark's body position as best he can. Miller is trying desperately to improve position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Clark stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing. Miller gets a takedown into half guard. Clark keeping hold of Miller's head, controlling as best he can. Clark continues to stall. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Clark is looking to improve his position.

Miller moves out of range of the body kick from Clark.
Russel Miller seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A decent looking body kick lands there for Clark. Clark clinches with his opponent.

Clark is aware though and is defending well. Miller wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Clark is now in half guard. Clark stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Miller to get to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Miller fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Clark sprawls well initially but Miller persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Clark is doing well to control the position and prevent Miller from advancing to side control. Miller thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Clark's head. Miller is trying to control the action in half guard but Clark is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Miller missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Clark gets caught napping as Miller dives in and scores a takedown. Clark manages to retain guard. Miller is breathing heavily. Clark trying to control the position here. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Clark can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Miller controls the pace. Clark is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Miller pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Clark is keeping the position for now.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Clark wants to sweep here but Miller controlling him for the moment. Clark avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Clark holds on and takes a little breather. Miller must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Clark wants to sweep here but Miller controlling him for the moment. Clark is trying to control the position from the bottom.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Clark wants to sweep but no luck. Clark is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Miller is aware though and is defending well. Clark tries to land a sweep but no joy. Miller throws a big right hand that misses. Miller is looking to work some ground and pound but Clark has wrist control. Clark really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Clark looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Miller puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard. Miller wants to lay and pray for a moment but Clark keeps working. Clark is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Miller can do to turn this around? Miller tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Clark. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Clark gets back to full guard.

That was a close second round but I would say that Buddy Clark will probably get the nod. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

Miller takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Clark tries to keep at a distance but Miller has taken the fight into the clinch. Clark breaks from the clinch.

That's two minutes gone in the round. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Clark pulls Miller in close to prevent any damage. Clark manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Miller manages to get himself to full guard.
Clark decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Miller has closed the distance and engaged Clark in a clinch.

Buddy Clark is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Miller closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Miller lands in his opponent's guard. Clark manages to escape and get back to his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Miller scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Clark is looking to get back to his feet here but Miller is keeping cool and he's managed to take Clark's back. Miller is hanging on to Clark's back as he tries to escape.
Miller missing with strikes from the back. Buddy Clark overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Clark just trying to survive but Miller is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish. Clark covering up well under a series of strikes from Miller. Clark rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Clark is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Miller has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Clark holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Miller tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
Miller trying to control but Clark is having none of it. Miller thowing shots but they're missing. Russel Miller has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Buddy Clark is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Miller pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Russel Miller. I think Clark has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
