Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bob Serget (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sinan Yak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Serget comes to the cage accompanied by Friends in lower places. Yak comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Silahsiz Kuvvet - Sözlerim Silahim kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Sinan Yak has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Bob Serget's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
34 - 15 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Bob Serget! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
16 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Sinan Yak! The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Yves DeLean and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Serget darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Yak slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Yak bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Serget's guard. Serget has his hands on Yak's head, controlling the position. Serget has a closed guard, preventing Yak from standing up. Yak looking to pass the guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Yak is looking to stand up but Serget won't let him.
That's one minute gone in the round. Serget can't keep his opponent in guard - Yak advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. It looks like Yak is going to stand back up.
Serget is trying to maintain the position but Yak is very close to passing his half guard. My spies in King's Palace inform me that Yak has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends! Yak prevents Serget from standing back up.
Yak is working for a kimura but Serget is defending it quite comfortably.
Yak is looking to pass Serget's guard but actually Serget recovers to full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Yak drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Serget manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Yak has Serget in his guard.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Yak is looking for a triangle here but Serget uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
Yak is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Serget's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. Serget seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Yak is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Yak actively working from the bottom here. Serget perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Yak wants to improve his position but Serget is controlling well.

That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Yak tries to roll over but Serget keeps him under control. Yak gets full guard. Serget is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Yak is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Yak looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Serget not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Serget seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Yak for as long as he can get away with. Yak looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Sinan Yak will probably get the nod. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Serget shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Yak drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Serget defends it well. Yak throws a jab when Serget was well out of range. Serget takes a shot right to the bread basket. Yak misses with an uppercut. Serget saw that one coming. As Yak looks to move away, Serget throws a big counter combo bu Yak just gets out of the way. Serget needs to keep his hands up - Yak had a free shot at his head there. Serget uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Yak. Yak misses with a body shot.
Serget takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
It looks like Bob Serget has been cut. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Serget displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Yak throws out the jab. Yak scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Serget doesn't seem bothered though. Serget moves out of range as Yak strikes. Serget drops down looking for a counter takedown but Yak sprawls and moves away. Yak with a nice cross.
That's one minute gone in the round. Serget takes one on the button. Serget slips a straight right by Yak. A looping hook to the body misses from Yak. Serget does a little dance to reset his feet. Nice defenses there by Serget. Yak misses with a straight left. Serget decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Yak tries to roll over but Serget keeps him under control. Yak has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Yak moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Yak wants to control the position but Serget says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard. Serget takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Yak is refusing to be controlled, as Serget sits in half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Nice strikes from Serget there. Yak tries to get to full guard but Serget has control of the leg. Yak looking for a kimura from the bottom but Serget passes into side control! Yak is not content to let Serget control the position. Yak is working to avoid the ground and pound but Serget connects with a decent elbow. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Yak is looking for a sweep. Yak looks to move to half guard but instead Serget has passed into mount! Damn!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Yak regains half guard. Serget prevents Yak from improving his position. Serget lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Yak is looking to improve his position.
Yak actively working from the bottom here. Serget frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Yak. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man. Yak slips a leg in and gets back to half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Serget prevents Yak from improving his position. Well, if Serget is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Serget working over Yak with some ground and pound. Yak looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Yak has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Serget is working away from the top position though. Serget looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Yak tries to roll over but Serget keeps him under control. Serget scoring with strikes to the body and head. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Sinan Yak showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Bob Serget's cut. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!
Yak throws a body shot but no joy. Yak misses with a right hand and Serget counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Yak taking some punishment here, with Serget in his half guard. Serget content to control rather than advance. Yak looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Yak is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Serget's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Serget's back! We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Yak is trying to control but Serget is trying to escape here - he's now mounted.
Yak swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Serget is now in Yak's guard. A big mistake from Yak there, giving up the dominant position! Serget is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Yak has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Serget can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
That's one minute gone in the round. Yak trying to control the position.
Yak looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Yak preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Serget is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Yak lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard. Serget keeping full guard, as Yak tries to pass.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Serget wants to sweep but no luck. Yak trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Serget is looking to stand up but Yak isn't so interested in that idea. Yak looking to pass the guard. Yak slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Serget is not content to let Yak control the position. Yak looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Sinan Yak is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Serget manages to get back to half guard. Yak is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Serget sees it coming and defends easily. Serget is looking for a sweep. Yak is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Yak in particular looking to stall. Bob Serget overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Serget is refusing to be controlled, as Yak sits in half guard. Yak controlling the action here. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Yak is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Yak trying to control from Serget's half guard. Serget has other ideas though and has regained full guard. Yak is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Serget keeping moving, preventing Yak from controlling successfully.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Bob Serget has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Yak uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Serget has time to react.
And that's the end of the fight! Sinan Yak comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Yak winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
