The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Jonathan Paton and John Kavanagh.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Book feints and as Kall raises his hands in defense, Book changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Kall working for a triangle but Book defends it easily.
Kall keeping full guard, as Book tries to pass.
Kall can't keep his opponent in guard - Book advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Book is working for a submission of some sort.
Kall wants to control but Book is keeping busy and won't allow it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Book moves into full mount! Kall won't be happy about that!
Book trying to control but he's not successful this time.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Book is standing up, even though he is in mount.
Kall has closed the distance and engaged Book in a clinch.
Kall has picked Book up - he's going for a ride! Kall dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
Kall is pressing down on Book's thigh, looking to free his foot. Book is holding on for now.
Book trying to control but Kall postures up.
Book regains full guard. Nicely done.
Kall really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Book. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Kall won't allow Book to sweep him here.
Kall must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Kall is posturing up here but Book has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Kall tries to roll out but it's too tight and Kall has to tap! Slick submission there by Book!
