Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Rodrigo Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hiyato Nakamara (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Silva moves into the clinch.
Nakamara has Silva pushed against the cage.

Nakamara has picked Silva up - he's going for a ride! Nakamara dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.

Well, if Nakamara is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Silva fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Nakamara to the ground. Silva is now in Nakamara 's guard.

Nakamara wants to get back to his feet but Silva passes into half guard.
Nakamara tries to roll over but Silva keeps him under control.

Nakamara keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Silva 's efforts to push away.
Silva avoids the elbow strike from Nakamara , against the cage.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Nakamara 's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
Silva wants to get back to striking at distance but Nakamara won't allow it.

Nakamara clinches with his opponent.
Nakamara tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Silva smiles and moves away.
Silva misses with a body kick.
Nakamara tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Nakamara throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Silva was covering up waiting for the punch and Nakamara finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Silva is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.

The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.
Nakamara manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.

Silva is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.

Nakamara has hold of one of Silva 's legs. Silva is fighting the takedown attempt but Nakamara gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.

Silva has his foot on Nakamara 's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Nakamara works his way back into a safe position though.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Nakamara is trying to control the action in half guard but Silva is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Hiyato Nakamara has got the better of the ground game so far.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Nakamara fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Silva has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Nakamara closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Silva to the mat! Silva manages to get full guard.

Silva has control of an arm but Nakamara manages to advance to Silva 's back!
Nakamara has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Hiyato Nakamara comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Nakamara has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
