Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Hector Harris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and David Nugent (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nugent throws a hook but Harris avoids it easily.

Harris gets the takedown into side control.

Nugent is looking to get back to his feet here but Harris is keeping cool and he's managed to take Nugent's back.

Harris controlling the position well here. Nugent rolled but Harris kept the hooks locked in and stayed in the dominant position.

Harris closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Nugent is trying to escape back to his feet but Harris uses the scramble to pass into side control.

and Harris counters with a series of strikes that practically lifts Nugent off his feet! He tumbles backwards, his head bouncing off the mat - Harris follows up with more strikes before the ref can step in but Nugent was out before he hit the floor.
