The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A combination from Haddock does no damage.
The fighters circle momentarily. Haddock darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Schmeling fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Haddock manages to avoid it.
Haddock lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Schmeling backs up against the ropes.

Schmeling goes for a double leg but Haddock avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the ropes as Haddock continues to drive forward.
