Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Edmond Willis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Robert Daniel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Robert Daniel looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Edmond Willis!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Robert Daniel!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Steven Brown and Paul Tew.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Daniel closes the distance and clinches.
Willis is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Daniel drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Willis ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Willis no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Willis tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Willis looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Willis is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Daniel defends well.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Willis is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Willis is taking a breather. Daniel says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Willis is working for a kimura but Daniel is defending it quite comfortably.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Daniel tries to get to full guard but Willis has control of the leg.

Willis thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.

Willis is thwarting Daniel's attempts to control the position.
Daniel looks winded!
Well, if Willis is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Daniel is refusing to be controlled, as Willis sits in half guard.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Daniel fails to land the takedown.
Willis is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Daniel.

Daniel tries to keep at a distance but Willis has taken the fight into the clinch.
Willis tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Willis looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Willis wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.

Willis has clasped his hands together around Daniel's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.

Willis lands a decent elbow from side control.

Daniel moves into the clinch successfully.

Willis manages to break the clinch.

Daniel fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Willis, pushing him back against the cage.
Willis keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Daniel's efforts to push away.
Willis lands a right hand.
Willis goes for a takedown in the clinch but Daniel prevents it.

Willis breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Daniel shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Willis pinned against the cage. Willis gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Edmond Willis is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Daniel is breathing heavily.

Daniel clinches with his opponent.
Willis misses with a knee to the head.
Daniel goes for a takedown in the clinch but Willis prevents it.
Daniel tries to circle away but Willis has him pinned against the cage.
Willis is trying to break free.
Willis drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Daniel gets the underhooks and prevents it.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Daniel is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Willis is defending well for now.
Willis just leaning against Daniel, taking a breather.
A right handed body shot lands from Willis.
Willis lands a damaging elbow.
Daniel changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Willis fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Edmond Willis has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Robert Daniel.

and Willis counters with a right hand to the body.

Willis rushes Daniel and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Willis tries a knee to the head but Daniel blocks it.
Willis wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Daniel stops a takedown attempt from Willis.
Willis has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Daniel is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Daniel can't find room to land a body shot as Willis controls the action.

Willis manages to break the clinch.
Daniel fails with the takedown

and Willis moves into the clinch.

Willis lands a damaging elbow.

Willis turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Willis manages to end up in side control.
Daniel tries to wriggle free to get back to his feet but he's given up his back! Oops.
I would not like to be Daniel right now.
Willis is throwing strikes from the back here. Oh that last one was to the back of the head. Willis gets a warning from the referee. He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Willis gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Willis apologises and we restart here on the feet.
Daniel defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Willis.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Daniel fails with a takedown attempt from distance.

Willis gets tackled into the cage by Daniel. Daniel maintains the clinch.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!



Willis has managed to clinch.
A frustrated look appears on Daniel's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Willis throws a knee to the head but misses.
Daniel tries to pull guard but Willis won't allow it.

Willis's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Daniel moves into the clinch.
Willis is trying to drag Daniel to the mat but Daniel just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Daniel is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Daniel takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Willis's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Daniel misses with a takedown

and Willis counters by moving into the clinch.
Edmond Willis has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Robert Daniel.

Willis is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.

Willis tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Daniel swivels and escapes.
Daniel tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Willis clinches up with Daniel and pushes him back against the cage.

Willis pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Willis throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Daniel blocks it with crossed arms.

Willis has closed the distance and engaged Daniel in a clinch.
Daniel tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Willis connects with a knee to the head.
Willis scores with a shot to the side of Daniel's head.
Willis comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.
Willis is trying to force a seperation but Daniel has the dominant position.
Willis throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Daniels head.
Willis throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Daniel blocks it with crossed arms.
Willis wants a takedown but no success here.

Daniel breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Daniel misses with a takedown

and Willis counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Willis.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Willis jumps guard and drags Daniel to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Daniel sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Willis's guard.
Willis is looking to control Daniel's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Willis avoid being mounted?
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Daniel is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

And that's the end of the fight!
Edmond Willis showed his dominance in that final round.
Well Willis has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
