Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kim Chow!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Nicko Shoota!
The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Shirou Masuda and Shigeki Sano.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chow misses with a double jab.

Chow gets a clinch.

Chow drags the fight down to the ground.
Chow throwing strikes off his back to little effect.
Shoota throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Chow works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Chow bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Shoota's guard.

Chow is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Chow stops Shoota from standing up.
Chow has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Chow decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Shoota misses the shot to the body.

Chow fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Shoota sprawls well initially but Chow persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Chow takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

That's one minute gone in the round.
We've been hearing that Chow has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.
Chow wants to free his trapped foot but Shoota is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Chow takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Chow has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Chow with shots to the head and body - Shoota looks very uncomfortable down there.
Chow putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound!


Shoota is rocked!

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Chow lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Shoota hang on?
Shoota is still in real trouble! Can Chow finish him?
Chow softens up his opponent with a couple of shots there and then CRACK! One massive shot lands there and Shoota is out cold! Chow jumps to his feet and celebrates on the cage with the fans, who are, quite frankly, going absolutely mental!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Kim Chow!
After winning the bout, Kim Chow thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
Nicko Shoota spoke after the fight, saying 'Thanks To My Fans For The Love And Soport And I Will Always Make It A Show You Win Some You Lose Some .But Lets See If I Cant Win The Rest From Here On Out.'.
