Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Rudolph Rutledge!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Rendi Ourton!
The judges for this bout are Chris Dean, Ron Honeybunn and Skip Squint.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Rutledge lands with a kick to the temple. Ourton shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Rutledge misses with a low kick.
Rutledge misses with a double jab
and Ourton counters with a two punch combo.
Rutledge swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Despite the aggression on Ourton's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ourton blocks a jab.
Ourton is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.
A solid leg kick lands there for Rutledge.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Rutledge swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Ourton counters with a series of strikes. Rutledge will be more careful next time no doubt.
Rutledge throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
A looping hook to the body misses from Rutledge. Ourton does a little dance to reset his feet.
Rutledge connects with a solid leg kick.
Rutledge throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Ourton counters with a three punch combo that has Rutledge backing up. Rutledge nods at Ourton to acknowledge the strikes.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
A low kick from Rutledge misses
and Ourton counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Rutledge throws a lazy head kick
and Ourton counters with a crisp one two that drops Rutledge! Ourton thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Rutledge to his feet! Rutledge is in big trouble!
Rutledge is rocked!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Rutledge throws a leg kick that is checked
and Ourton counters with a left and a right... and another left... and another!! That last one turned off the lights! Rutledge has no idea who he is and is as he gazes up at the spotlights. Brutal knockout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:39 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Rendi Ourton!
