Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Nerve Agent Vx (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Connor McManus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying McManus's choice of entrance music: Jeff Danna - 'The Blood of Cú Chulainn'. This should be fireworks!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McManus waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Agent Vx.
Agent Vx attempts a counter takedown but McManus avoids it well and moves away.
Agent Vx tries to move into range but McManus moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
McManus darts in and clinches Agent Vx up against the cage.
McManus misses with a punch on the inside.

McManus works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
McManus escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Agent Vx gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

McManus is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Agent Vx's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Agent Vx's back!
McManus cracks Agent Vx with a big shot to body and one to the head - really punishing Agent Vx from the back mount here, looking to soften him up.
