And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 22 - 18 - 0, fighting out of London, Stephan Walter!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Daniel Franklin and Tiny Johnson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Riddick scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.


It looks like Stephan Walter has been cut.
Walter misses with a looping right.
Riddick is looking to counter punch.
Walter misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Walter thuds a left hand into Riddick's body.
Walter moves out of range of the strikes.
Riddick looks to land a body kick but Walter moved away.
Riddick smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Walter tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Riddick paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Walter keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Riddick.
Walter throws a series of punches but Riddick moves out of range.
An attempted straight right counter from Riddick misses the target.
Walter is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Riddick.
Riddick throws a low kick, looking for Walter's leg but Walter calmly moves out of range.
Walter tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Walter throws a right hand that Riddick ducks under and follows up with a left that Riddick also avoids with ease.
Walter tries a head kick but it misses.
Walter's coach down at SWF GYM - JUDO 'n' MMA was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Walter's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

Riddick clinches.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Riddick landing some nice looking knees to the body.
Riddick with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head.

Walter pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Walter misses with a head kick.
Stephan Walter seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Walter throws a hook to the side of Riddick's head but Riddick sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Riddick has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Walter finds it's way round the side to connect with Riddick's head.
Riddick rushes Walter and starts throwing punches like they are going out of style! Walter is up against the cage and has nowhere to go. Riddick Piles on the pressure and Walter crumples to the floor! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:19 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Richard B Riddick!
