The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Alan Glass and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Berger jabs Arana right on the nose. Arana blinks but takes it well.
Arana misses with a body shot
and Berger counters with a stiff right hand.
Berger throws a body kick despite being completely out of range
and Berger takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Arana throws a head kick that misses.
Berger throwing a counter right hand but Arana manages to avoid it.
A jab from Berger finds it's way through Arana's defenses.
Arana takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Arana is rocked!
Berger throws an off balance right hand
and Arana counters with a nice low kick that buckles Berger's knee momentarily.
Berger feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Arana sprawling to the canvas! Arana rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Berger finish him?!
Arana is still on wobbly legs! Can Berger finish him?
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Arana walks into a picture perfect straight right hand from Berger! He's gone down face first to the canvas, unconscious before he even hit the floor! Ohhhh. My. Goodness! That boys and girls was a beautiful knockout! Give that man a biscuit!
