Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tyler Bentley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tong Po (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bentley on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
Po feints a jab promting Bentley to slip. Po then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Bentley slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

It looks like Tyler Bentley has been cut.
Po checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.

and Po holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Bentley is trying to push Po away but Po has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.

Po manages to pull guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Po is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Bentley is aware though and is defending well.
Po is pulling down on Bentley's head. It's preventing any offense from Bentley, at least for the moment.

Po had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Bentley defends it easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Po swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Bentley is now in Po's guard. A big mistake from Po there, giving up the dominant position!
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Tong Po showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Po shoots in for a takedown but Bentley shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Po closes the distance and clinches up with Bentley, looking for a takedown. Po pushes Bentley against the cage but Bentley circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Po shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Bentley pinned against the cage. Bentley gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Tyler Bentley has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tong Po.

Bentley jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Po walks away with a smile on his face. Bentley gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Po leaves Bentley with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Bentley shoots for a takedown but Po saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Bentley gets control of Po's arms and successfully pulls guard. Bentley will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Po gets to his feet - Bentley follows without any prompting.

Po shoots in for a double leg but Bentley sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Bentley stuffs the takedown attempt from Po. Po gets slowly back to his feet.

Po shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Po was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Po is looking cool and calm here, just waiting for a good opportunity to attack and finish the fight from this dominant position.

You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.
Bentley rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.

Po has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Bentley sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
Tyler Bentley has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Po looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Tyler Bentley.
I think Po has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
