Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Will Hannon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mario Eikmeyer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

11 - 18 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Mario Eikmeyer! The judges for this bout are Konstantin Menshow, Ivan Kurochkin and Dmitry Maklakov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hannon throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. Eikmeyer has a takedown stuffed. Eikmeyer's coach down at Russian Fighting Community Gym was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Eikmeyer's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. Eikmeyer avoids the body shot from Hannon.

It looks like Will Hannon has been cut. Eikmeyer landing some decent shots from guard. Eikmeyer stands up over Hannon, holding on to his feet. Eikmeyer throws the legs to one side and dives in with a huge shot that lands flush on the chin! Hannon is out cold! Eikmeyer lands a couple more shots and the ref tackles him out of the way! What a brutal finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Mario Eikmeyer! In his post fight interview, Mario Eikmeyer started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
