Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Johnathon Duran (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hope Eas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hope Eas told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Johnathon Duran! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Hope Eas! The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Richard Clark and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jab from Eas.
It looks like Johnathon Duran has been cut. Duran tries to keep at a distance but Eas has taken the fight into the clinch. Eas pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Eas misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Duran counters with a shoot takedown. Eas fights it but they end up in guard. Eas looking for a sweep. Not yet Eas, not yet. Eas is trying to control the position from the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Duran throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Duran postures up.
Duran lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Eas wants to sweep but no luck. Duran lands a couple of decent looking shots. Duran keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Eas's head. Duran working some strikes from top position. Eas working for submissions but it's allowed Duran to get to half guard.
Duran really is a fat lump. Duran working the head and body with strikes. Duran winds up and cracks Eas with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Ground and pound from Duran. Duran drops an elbow to the side of Eas's head.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Eas wants to get back to full guard. Duran winds up and cracks Eas with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Duran seems to be working for a kimura but Eas defends the submission attempt. Eas avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Duran. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Duran connects with a nice short shot to Eas's temple. Duran working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Duran looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Eas with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Duran has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Duran is nestled in close to Eas, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Duran lands a nice short elbow. Eas looks winded! The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Duran is nestled in close to Eas, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Duran is working for a kimura but Eas is defending it quite comfortably.
Eas trying to control here but he's found himself mounted! Oh no!
Eas wants to improve position but instead he's given up his back. Duran looking for the choke but no joy. Duran lands a shot to the body.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Duran landing with strikes. Duran lands shots from the back. Eas looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment. Eas is trapped and Duran is scoring with shots to the head and body. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Johnathon Duran dominated that round. The cut man is working on Johnathon Duran's cut. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Eas throws a body punch but Duran moves out of range. Eas leaves Duran with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Duran shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Duran tries to clinch up. Eas throws a series of punches but Duran avoids them all with ease. Eas gets a clinch. Duran pulls guard effortlessly. Duran wants to stand but Eas is controlling the position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Duran has Eas pulled in close to control his posture. Eas is looking to pass into half guard but Duran pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Duran is in guard.
Johnathon Duran overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
That's one minute gone in the round. Eas is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Duran dives into side control.
Eas tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Duran presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount! Eas is working to get back to half guard.
Eas looking to escape from mount but he's given up his back! Duran has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Eas has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Eas tries to escape the position.
Eas trying to control the position but Duran manages to sink in the hooks. Eas is really stuck here.
Eas is breathing heavily. Duran is controlling his opponent, waiting for an opportunity to finish. Duran is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Duran is working the ground and pound here and the referee is taking a close look at Eas. He must escape soon or this one will be stopped. Duran is working for the choke. It looks like he might have got it... has he...? Yes! Eas is tapping out! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:41 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Johnathon Duran!
