29 - 33 - 1, fighting out of St Petersburg, Tony Hunt! The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Viktor Lagutenko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hunt clobbers Phoenix with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Phoenix lands with a straight right. Hunt didn't see that one coming. Phoenix paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Phoenix lets loose with a powerful body kick. Hunt will feel that in the morning. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Hunt checks the leg kick nicely there.
Phoenix scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Phoenix tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Phoenix lands an elbow. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Hunt can't do much from the bottom here. Hunt tries to bench press Phoenix off him but Phoenix keeps the position. Hunt takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better. Phoenix working away. Hunt is working to avoid the ground and pound but Phoenix connects with a decent elbow. Hunt is not in a great position here, taking some shots. Phoenix scoring with punches from side control. Hunt is rocked! Phoenix tries to move to mount but Hunt blocks the move with his legs. Hunt is still in real trouble! Can Phoenix finish him?
That's one minute gone in the round. Phoenix lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The strikes coming from Phoenix are missing the target in this wave of attacks. Hunt seems to have recovered his senses. Hunt is looking to reverse the position. Phoenix is chipping away with strikes.
Phoenix in side control here. He's dropped a big elbow there and Hunt looks hurt! Oh, he is hurt! Phoenix turns on the heat and pounds him out for a TKO victory! Good killer instinct there!

He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction. Tony Hunt spoke after the fight, saying 'ok mate....you got that one, one more go around?'.
