Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between James McKenna (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Maroun Caboul (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think McKenna might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to scotland the brave. James McKenna has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, James McKenna! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Maroun Caboul! The judges for this bout are Micheangelo Fripello, Jeff Smith and Ryoma Takatsuka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! McKenna shoots in looking for a takedown. Caboul tries to sprawl out of it but McKenna keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Caboul manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. McKenna fails with a takedown attempt from distance. McKenna drives through with a takedown into guard. McKenna stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Caboul swivels though and keeps the full guard. Our spies down at at Wreckshop inform us that Caboul has really been working on his submissions in the buildup to this fight. Will it pay off? Caboul is controlling McKenna's posture. McKenna trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. McKenna pushes down on Caboul's leg and manages to get into half guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. McKenna looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
McKenna uses his free foot to push down on Caboul's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Caboul.
That's one minute gone in the round. Caboul wants to hold on but McKenna pushes him away. McKenna with some aggressive grappling here, looking for the finish.
Caboul tries to hold on but McKenna postures up. McKenna takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. McKenna works his way to his opponent's back.
McKenna controlling from the back. Caboul is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.
McKenna looking for the RNC. McKenna definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Caboul trying to control the hands but McKenna breaks the grip. McKenna trying desperately to keep hold of the dominant position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. McKenna has his opponent's back and is working for the choke. Caboul tries to escape the position.
McKenna has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Caboul has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Caboul looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment.
That's four minutes gone in the round. McKenna is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.
Caboul is in a world of trouble here. He's outmatched on the ground here and he'd better get McKenna off his back sharpish unless he wants to be submitted. Caboul trying to control the hands but McKenna won't let him. McKenna is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Caboul has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Caboul is trying to control his opponent's hands. Eventually McKenna gets his hands free and sinks in a rear naked choke. For a while it looks like Caboul is going to survive but after struggling valiantly, he eventually has to tap out! McKenna is your winner!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). James McKenna! Jumping up and down and very excited, James McKenna waved his t-shirt featuring Machine Fight Gear's logo in front of the cameras.
