Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Boipelo Chibuzo Ihejirika (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Guy Brush (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brush has chosen GOAT !!! as his entrance music. Guy Brush has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Boipelo Chibuzo Ihejirika! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Guy Brush! The judges for this bout are Santiago Holmes, Michael Johnstone and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Brush thuds a left hand into Ihejirika's body. Brush lands a head shot.
It looks like Boipelo Chibuzo Ihejirika has been cut. Brush throws a shot from downtown. Ihejirika moves away and avoids it. A jab from Brush misses. Brush throws a leg kick but Ihejirika sees it coming and checks it nicely. No joy there for Brush, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Ihejirika attempts a counter takedown but Brush avoids it well and moves away. Ihejirika really is a fat lump. Ihejirika gets the takedown into side control. Ihejirika is trying to get an arm triangle but Brush is defending well. Brush looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Ihejirika prevents Brush from escaping the position. Brush taking punishment in the form of punches.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Brush is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ihejirika wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Brush, who protects the arm well. Brush wants to get back to his feet. Sloppy strikes there by Ihejirika. Brush wants to get back to his feet. An elbow from Ihejirika crashes against the mat.
Ihejirika working the ground and pound. Ihejirika is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Brush is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Brush is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Ihejirika asserts his dominance and retains side control. Ihejirika wants to control but Brush is keeping him busy. Ihejirika working the head with strikes. Brush parries the strikes from Ihejirika easily there. Ihejirika is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Brush to escape.
Brush wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done! Ihejirika in side control, just content to control the action for now.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Brush is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Ihejirika asserts his dominance and retains side control. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Ihejirika misses with an attempted head punch from side control. Brush really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Ihejirika. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Ihejirika is looking to take a break and control but Brush is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Ihejirika creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots. Brush is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Ihejirika is controlling him well.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Brush is looking to get back to his feet here but Ihejirika is keeping cool and he's managed to take Brush's back. Brush is trying to stand back up. Ihejirika has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Brush has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
Ihejirika has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Brush covering up well under a barage of strikes. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Brush is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet. Brush covering up well under a barage of strikes. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Boipelo Chibuzo Ihejirika dominated that round. The cut man is working on Boipelo Chibuzo Ihejirika's cut. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
A jab from Brush misses. Ihejirika gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Brush. Brush fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Ihejirika looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Ihejirika walks into a jab. Ihejirika looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio. Ihejirika shoots in but Brush avoids the takedown attempt easily. Brush drops Ihejirika with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Ihejirika looks back up at him and smiles so Brush waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Ihejirika is rocked! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. A slow jab from Brush misses its intended target. Brush fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Brush has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Ihejirika shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Brush as he avoids it easily. It seemed like Brush was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. Brush cracks Ihejirika with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Brush has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Ihejirika to stand back up! Oh Ihejirika is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Ihejirika leaves his chin hanging out and Brush seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Ihejirika crumbles to the floor in a heap, and the referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:59 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Guy Brush! Guy Brush decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
