The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice shot lands for Mato.
Mato lands with a good body shot.
Mato scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Mato stuffs the takedown.
Good shot there by Mato.
Hoon on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Mato connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Mato changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Hoon closes the distance and clinches up with Mato, looking for a takedown. Hoon pushes Mato against the cage but Mato circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Hoon.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Corak Hoon. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Mato works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Hoon takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Hoon is rocked!
Mato throws a pinpoint strike between Hoon's hands that connects right on the jaw and sends Hoon crashing to the floor! He's out before he even hits the mat and Mato scores a great knockout victory!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Laaka Mato!
