Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ray Fayth (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Galdra Kiddi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Galdra Kiddi has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Ray Fayth's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
29 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Ray Fayth! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
22 - 8 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Galdra Kiddi! The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Chris Edwards and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kiddi looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Kiddi misses with an uppercut
and Fayth counters with a left to the body. Kiddi doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Kiddi throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Fayth on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Kiddi. Kiddi obviously looking to wear him down.
Kiddi scores with a shot to the body.
Fayth misses with a low kick. Kiddi with the counter takedown but Fayth avoids it easily. Fayth takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Fayth swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. Fayth fakes the leg kick and cracks Kiddi in the body. Kiddi lands a nice hook to Fayth's body. Fayth takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Fayth cracks Kiddi with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. The fighters circling - Kiddi throws out the jab but it was never going to land. An inside leg kick from Fayth misses. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Fayth fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Kiddi manages to avoid it. Fayth throws a lazy right hand but Kiddi sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Nice defenses there by Kiddi. Jab by Kiddi.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fayth cracks Kiddi with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. Fayth blocks a jab. Kiddi moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Kiddi fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Fayth. Fayth tries a head kick but it misses.
A jab from Fayth misses. Kiddi looks like he wants to counter punch here. Kiddi ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Fayth moves away. Nice uppercut lands for Fayth. That snapped Kiddi's head back.
Kiddi tests Fayth's chin there with a solid looking shot.
It looks like Ray Fayth has been cut. Kiddi bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Fayth's head backwards. Kiddi lands a jab to Fayth's midsection. Fayth slips a straight right by Kiddi. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Fayth throws a leg kick but Kiddi checks it. Fayth looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Fayth rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Kiddi counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fayth shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Kiddi counters with a nice uppercut. Fayth is looking to chop away at Kiddi's legs. Kiddi jabs Fayth to the body, keeping him at a distance. Kiddi tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Kiddi checks a leg kick. Fayth on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Kiddi. Kiddi obviously looking to wear him down.
Fayth tries a low kick but Kiddi avoids it. Kiddi fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Fayth has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Kiddi misses the shot to the body. A big left from Fayth misses. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Kiddi.
Fayth throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean. Kiddi throws a jab when Fayth was well out of range. Kiddi lands with a shot to the body.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kiddi throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Fayth takes a jab right on the kisser.
Fayth misses with a left hand and Kiddi counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Kiddi. Fayth has his foot on Kiddi's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Kiddi works his way back into a safe position though. Kiddi in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Kiddi works over Fayth with some ground and pound from guard. Kiddi tries to free his leg and advance position but Fayth is retaining full guard. Kiddi avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Kiddi cracks Fayth with a solid left hand. Kiddi controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kiddi trying to control the position from guard on top but Fayth is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Kiddi postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Kiddi scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Kiddi trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Fayth tries to land a sweep but no joy. Kiddi trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Fayth is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Kiddi trying to control the position from guard on top but Fayth is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Fayth is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Galdra Kiddi dominated that round. The cut man is working on Ray Fayth's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Fayth lands a leg kick that knocks Kiddi off balance momentarily. Fayth cracks the inside of Kiddi's front leg. Fayth checks the leg kick. Kiddi throws a predictable looking body shot
and Fayth counters with a slapping leg kick. A slapping leg kick lands for Kiddi.
Fayth misses with a looping left. Kiddi throws a leg kick that misses. Thud! ouch! good body kick from Fayth - that will leave a mark!
Fayth misses the jab. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Fayth throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Kiddi with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Kiddi misses with a body shot.
A clash of legs there as Fayth blocks the low kick. Kiddi cracks Fayth with an open hand slap.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fayth misses the jab. Kiddi swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. Fayth swings for the body but Kiddi moves out of range.
Kiddi throws a leg kick and Fayth counters with a low kick, right behind Kiddi 's knee. Kiddi scores with a nice right hand.
Fayth lands a slapping body shot.
Kiddi uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Fayth. Kiddi cracks Fayth with an open hand slap. Fayth throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Fayth on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Kiddi lands a nice hook to Fayth's body. Fayth takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Fayth misses with an uppercut. Kiddi saw that one coming. Kiddi just misses with a punch to the body.
Fayth tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. A low kick from Fayth misses and Kiddi counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Fayth is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Kiddi lands a glancing blow to the side of Fayth's head.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fayth throws a leg kick but Kiddi sees it coming and moves out of range. Kiddi takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Kiddi smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. Excellent takedown into side control there by Fayth. Kiddi parries the strikes from Fayth easily there. Fayth is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Kiddi to escape.
Kiddi is trying to improve his position. Kiddi has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Kiddi is letting Fayth control him for a moment. Kiddi tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Fayth wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Kiddi felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it. Kiddi sneaks back into half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kiddi works his way to full guard. Good work. Fayth stands and throws Kiddi's legs to the side, diving into side control. The referee asks Fayth politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Fayth prefers to stall for the moment though. Fayth connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Kiddi some visible discomfort.
Fayth lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face. Kiddi is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Fayth misses with the ground and pound.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kiddi dodges the ground and pound from Fayth. Fayth wants to control but Kiddi is keeping him busy. Kiddi is trying to get back to half guard. Fayth postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Kiddi tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Fayth wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Kiddi is trying to control Fayth's posture but Fayth avoids it. Fayth wants to lay and pray for a moment but Kiddi keeps working. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ray Fayth dominated that second round. The cut man is working on Ray Fayth's cut. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!
Good standup being displayed there by Fayth as he connects with a hook. Kiddi throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. A little feinted left hand from Fayth on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. Kiddi throws a predictable looking body shot
and Fayth counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Fayth wants to take a breather but Kiddi is having none of it. Fayth content to control rather than advance. Kiddi wants to control but Fayth is keeping busy and won't allow it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Fayth looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Kiddi is trying to maintain the position but Fayth is very close to passing his half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kiddi slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Kiddi wants to control the position but Fayth says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard. Kiddi is looking for a sweep. Fayth is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Fayth is pressing down on Kiddi's thigh, looking to free his foot. Kiddi is holding on for now. Fayth winds up and cracks Kiddi with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Fayth is nestled in close to Kiddi, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Fayth working over Kiddi with some ground and pound. Kiddi looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Fayth working the head and body with strikes.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fayth maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Kiddi could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Fayth has cracked it and Kiddi is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Fayth!
