The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Aguilar.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Aguilar has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.

Aguilar wants to work for an arm triangle but Gracie is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Still in half guard, Aguilar seems content to control.
