Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Captain Boromir (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ichabod Crane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Boromir's entrance music is Dead Horse Beats - Black Sabbath. A fine choice. Crane has chosen Broken Bones - Decapitated as his entrance music. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Ichabod Crane enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 8 - 0, fighting out of London, Captain Boromir!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ichabod Crane!
The judges for this bout are James Glass, Paul Tew and Andrew Berry.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Crane walks into a jab.
Boromir thows a left - swing and a miss!
Boromir lands the left hand.
Boromir ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Crane moves away.
Crane shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Boromir eats them both and turns towards Crane to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

Crane bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Crane tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.

Crane has taken the fight to the clinch.
Boromir makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Boromir lands a left hand.
Boromir fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Boromir creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Crane tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Crane tries to throw a body punch but Boromir avoids it by throwing Crane back against the cage.
Boromir on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Crane.
Crane throws an elbow but it misses.

Boromir lands with a short shot to the head.
Crane drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Boromir gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Boromir lands on the inside with an uppercut.
Crane's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!

Crane has Boromir pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Crane pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Boromir tumbling to the mat - Crane dives into Boromir's guard.
Boromir is trying to control the position but Crane postures up.
Boromir tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Crane postures up and lands a big shot to Boromir's brow.
Crane with a flurry of punches that miss.
Boromir controls Crane momentarily but Crane frees himself.

Boromir is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Crane throwing strikes but missing.
Boromir controls Crane momentarily but Crane frees himself.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Crane tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Crane scores with a nice right hand.
Crane throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Boromir.
Crane slips under a jab.
Boromir gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Boromir throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Captain Boromir seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Crane ducks under a wild hook from Boromir.

Crane keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Boromir.
It seemed like Crane was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Crane digs a good body shot into Boromir's ribs.
Boromir takes one to the side of the head.
Crane slips under a jab from Boromir.
A punch combination from Crane misses.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Crane swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Boromir throws a hook but Crane blocks it.

and Crane cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Boromir avoids the body shot from Crane.
Boromir swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Crane throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Boromir sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Boromir is looking to counter punch.

Crane needs to keep his hands up - Boromir had a free shot at his head there.
Boromir feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Cranes jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
We've been told by Boromir's head coaches at Gonzasco Hydropathy that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

Crane steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Boromir.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Captain Boromir will probably get the nod.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!

Boromir throws a jab but it's blocked by Crane.

Crane unleashes a big counter combination but Boromir bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
Crane misses with a head kick.
Boromir throws a shot from downtown. Crane moves away and avoids it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Crane is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Boromir's half guard.
Boromir is trying to control but Crane manages to pass to mount!

Boromir holds on for dear life, controlling Crane's posture momentarily.

A very excited looking Ichabod Crane made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
