Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Chester Mcmillan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ben Olofsson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Chester Mcmillan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ben Olofsson!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mcmillan throws a head kick that misses.
Olofsson tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.

Olofsson wants to counter with a clinch but Mcmillan pushes him away.
Olofsson closes the distance but Mcmillan moves to the side

and Mcmillan counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Olofsson pulls Mcmillan in close to prevent any damage.

Olofsson wants to stand up but Mcmillan is controlling him.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

Mcmillan is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Olofsson defends it well.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

Mcmillan holds on to Olofsson's head and controls the position momentarily.
Mcmillan regains half guard there - taking advantage of Olofsson's attempt to lay and pray for a moment.
Olofsson stalling away here and it's allowed Mcmillan to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.

Olofsson might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Mcmillan haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Mcmillan holds on and takes a little breather.

Mcmillan has one foot on Olofsson's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.

Olofsson feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Chester Mcmillan dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


Mcmillan tries to score a power double leg takedown but Olofsson sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Mcmillan somewhat.

Olofsson closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Mcmillan is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Olofsson to keep the fight standing.

Olofsson tightens his grip and picks Mcmillan up, before dumping him to the ground. Mcmillan manages to land in guard.

Olofsson decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Mcmillan, up you get!

Olofsson tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Mcmillan's elbow.

Mcmillan has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Olofsson uses from the top position.
Olofsson slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Mcmillan could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Mcmillan wants to stand up but Olofsson is controlling him.
Mcmillan is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Olofsson dives into side control.

Olofsson goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Mcmillan has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Olofsson but great work by Mcmillan.

Mcmillan is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Olofsson is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Mcmillan is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Olofsson can do to turn this around?

Mcmillan is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Olofsson knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Mcmillan shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Olofsson sprawls well. Olofsson wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Mcmillan gets slowly back to his feet.

Ben Olofsson comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Olofsson has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
