Coming up we have a super heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Sergio Perez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nikolay Kokin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sergio Perez has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sergio Perez! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Nikolay Kokin! The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Stewart Dunkirk and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Perez throws a right and a left that both miss. Perez throws a sloppy head kick and Kokin moves out of range easily. Perez takes a head kick and keeps coming.
It looks like Sergio Perez has been cut. Kokin throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Kokin tries to keep at a distance but Perez has taken the fight into the clinch. Kokin is trying to break free. Perez has Kokin pushed against the ropes. Perez keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Kokin's efforts to push away. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kokin with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head. Perez working hard to break the clinch. Kokin wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Perez has him pressed against the ropes. Kokin is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Perez is defending well for now.

With the two fighters working up against the ropes, Perez just misses with a elbow thrown towards Kokin's brow. Perez is trying to break free. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Perez is trying to break the clinch but Kokin has him pressed against the ropes. Perez wants to stall.

Perez keeps control of Kokin as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Kokin has Perez pressed against the ropes, preventing Perez from circling away and getting back to striking at range. With the two fighters working up against the ropes, Kokin just misses with a elbow thrown towards Perez's brow. Kokin stalling in the clinch but Perez improves position. Perez has had enough of the clinch but Kokin keeps him there for the moment. Kokin tries to stall but Perez uses the opportunity to gain a better position.

Nikolay Kokin showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Sergio Perez's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!
Kokin throws out a head kick that Perez doesn't see coming - it connects and sends Perez crashing to the mat face first! He's bounced up to his knees and is scrambling to get back to his feet and beat the count. He's up on 5 but still looks a bit groggy; will the referee allow it to continue??? He's taking a good look into Perez's eyes and has decided to let it go on! Perez moves into range and clinches up with Kokin. Perez looking to stall.

That's one minute gone in the round. Good anti-grappling being displayed by Perez as Kokin tries to tie him up. Kokin lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!
Kokin has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. The referee is keeping an eye on Perez - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Perez lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. With the fighters clinched against the ropes, Perez creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Kokin tries to break free but Perez pushes him back against the ropes. Perez is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath. Perez content to slow the pace in the clinch.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Kokin works on Perez's body with a couple of short punches. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kokin is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the ropes. Perez keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Kokin's efforts to push away. Kokin's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Nikolay Kokin seems to be getting the better of the standup. Kokin throws a mid kick that lands with a slap. Kokin tries to clinch but Perez is having none of it. The fight stays on the outside here - Kokin looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Perez is looking to counter with a body kick. Kokin has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Kokin tries to close the distance and clinch but Perez swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Kokin throws a head kick that misses. Kokin throws a body punch but Perez moves out of range. Sergio Perez has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Nikolay Kokin is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Kokin plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
And that's the end of the fight! Nikolay Kokin comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Kokin winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
