Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Massaman Hitch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zack Cortez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Massaman Hitch has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Massaman Hitch! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Zack Cortez! The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Daniel Franklin and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hitch takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Hitch misses with a few strikes there.
A shot to the body from Cortez misses and Hitch counters with a series of strikes. Cortez will be more careful next time no doubt. A shot to the liver by Cortez. Beautiful body shot. No joy there for Hitch, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Cortez throws a right hand that Hitch ducks under and follows up with a left that Hitch also avoids with ease. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Hitch fails in his attempt to clinch. Hitch throws a one two combo.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Hitch instigates a clinch. Cortez manages to break the clinch.
Hitch shoots for a double leg takedown but Cortez sprawls well. He's pushed Hitch's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Cortez stuns Hitch with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Hitch displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Cortez throws out the jab. Hitch wants to clinch. Cortez fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Hitch on the side of the head. Hitch moves out of range of the strikes.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hitch blocks a jab. Cortez bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Cortez throws a jab when Hitch was well out of range. Hitch throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Hitch looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. And Cortez tries to counter it with a takedown but Hitch pushes his down on his head and steps out. Hitch on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Hitch just misses with a punch to the body.
Cortez uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Hitch. Cortez is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here. Cortez throws the left hand but Hitch avoids the punch easily. Hitch throws a series of strikes that have Cortez backpedaling.
Hitch is breathing heavily. Hitch on the wrong end of a nice hook. Cortez throws out a powerful jab.
Hitch is rocked! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! A swing and a miss from Cortez. It looked like Hitch was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit. Hitch slips under a jab. Cortez cracks Hitch with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Hitch looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Cortez finish him?
Oh Hitch is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Cortez fakes the leg kick and throws a superman punch. It's knocked Hitch out cold! Brutal finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Superman Punch). Zack Cortez!
