The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Kenichi Hosakawa and Yasuomi Hirokawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lazada drives through with a takedown into guard.
Oneal is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Lazada accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Lazada turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Lazada manages to end up in side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Lazada tries to score with some ground and pound. Oneal controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
Oneal is not content to let Lazada control the position.

Oneal is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Lazada is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

Well Lazada has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
