Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Robbo Audi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zin Foe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Robbo Audi has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 11 - 1, fighting out of New York, Robbo Audi!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 8 - 0, fighting out of New York, Zin Foe!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, David Schapiro and Dean Styles.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Audi goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Foe thinks about the counter body kick.

Foe drives through and clinches with Audi against the cage.
Audi misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Foe.
Foe wants a takedown but no success here.

Audi's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Audi lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Foe has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Foe and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Audi misses with a head kick.

Audi throws a push kick but Foe slaps the foot to one side.
Foe's coach down at The House of Savage was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Foe's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

Foe closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Foe lands in his opponent's guard.
Foe trying to control the position from guard on top but Audi is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Foe might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Audi haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Foe would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Foe throws his legs up looking for a submission but Audi uses it to pass to side control.
Foe is looking to regain half guard here but Audi keeps moving and retains side control.

Audi trying to control the position but Foe is working away.
Foe tries to get back to half guard but can't.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Foe is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

Foe sneaks back into half guard.
Foe is looking for a sweep. Audi is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Audi is looking for a kimura but Foe is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Audi to get the leverage.
Foe is trying to get back to full guard.
Foe wants to control but Audi is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Foe is looking for a sweep. Audi is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Audi is keen to just control but Foe is a slippery customer.
Foe slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Foe is adopting a defensive guard.

Foe is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Audi is aware though and is defending well.
Foe thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.
Audi slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

Audi avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Foe working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Audi doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Audi manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

That was a close round but I would say that Robbo Audi will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.


Foe throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Audi's waist but Audi gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Foe off to one side.
Audi is looking for a counter combo.
Audi wants to clinch up but Foe keeps it at a distance.
Foe shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Foe scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Foe seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Audi does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Foe is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Foe is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Audi sees it coming and defends easily.

Audi seems to have improved his submission grappling technique since last time we saw him. Let's see if he can pull off a submission.
Foe stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Audi swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Audi is pulling down on Foe's head to control his posture.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Foe fails with a takedown attempt.
Robbo Audi has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Zin Foe.
Foe blocks a head kick by Audi.

Foe shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Audi napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Foe tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.
The ground and pound from Foe seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.

Foe wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Audi, who protects the arm well.

Foe wants to lay and pray for a moment but Audi keeps working.
Foe wants to stand but Audi has his arm trapped.

Foe is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Audi has escaped the position, nice work there.
Foe wants to control but Audi is keeping him busy.
Audi gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
Foe trying to pass the guard but Audi defending well.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Foe throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Audi keeping control of the leg, stopping his opponent passing to mount.

Foe looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Audi manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Foe keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close second round but Zin Foe will probably get the nod - 10:9.

No luck with that takedown attempt from Foe.
As Foe looks to move away, Audi throws a big counter combo bu Foe just gets out of the way.
Audi tries a head kick but it misses.

It looked like Audi was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Audi pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Audi throws a push kick but Foe slaps the foot to one side.
Foe shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Audi as he avoids it easily.
Audi seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.

and Audi counters with a big head kick but Foe shrugs it off.
Robbo Audi has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Zin Foe.
Foe dives in for a single leg takedown but Audi sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

Audi moves into range and clinches up with Foe.

Foe manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
Foe not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Foe has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Audi is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Foe.

Audi decides to stand back up. Audi steps back and let's Foe get back to his feet.

Foe drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Audi defends it well.

Audi leaves Foe with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Audi stuffs the takedown attempt from Foe. Foe gets slowly back to his feet.
Foe dives in for a single leg takedown but Audi sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Audi looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Audi lands a nice looking body kick.

Audi clinches with his opponent.
Foe has Audi pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Audi manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Audi ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Audi no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Audi wants to stand but Foe is controlling the position.

Audi bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Foe's guard.


Foe throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Audi escapes and throws Foe's legs to the side, diving into side control!
Audi is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.
Foe is looking for a sweep.
Audi creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.
Foe is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Audi is one step ahead and moves to full mount!
Audi content just to control the position here.

Foe is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
BOOM! Audi connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Foe sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
Foe wants to control but Audi is keeping busy.
Foe is trying to get back to full guard.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Foe is not content to let Audi control the position.
Audi not doing much here.

And that's the end of the fight!
Robbo Audi showed his dominance in that final round.
Well Audi has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
