Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

11 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ragnar Sigurdsson!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Tiny Johnson and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Good shot there by McCarty.
It looks like Ragnar Sigurdsson has been cut.
A head kick misses from McCarty.
McCarty tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Sigurdsson paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Sigurdsson.
Sigurdsson fails with an attempt to clinch.
Sigurdsson cracks the inside of McCarty's front leg.
Sigurdsson ducks under a wild hook from McCarty.
Sigurdsson swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Sigurdsson uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from McCarty.
Sigurdsson misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from McCarty.
Sigurdsson lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
McCarty tries to close the distance and clinch up but Sigurdsson swats him away and circles back towards the center.
McCarty misses with a straight left.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
McCarty throws a body kick that misses.
Sigurdsson closes the distance and lands a one-two.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
McCarty lands a right hook to the body.
McCarty fails to land with a series of punches.
Sigurdsson avoids the body shot from McCarty.
McCarty blocks a jab.

Sigurdsson slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
McCarty is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Sigurdsson ducks down and throws a hook to the body but McCarty moves away.
Sigurdsson cracks McCarty with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! McCarty looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Sigurdsson finish him?
McCarty is rocked!
McCarty is wiping some vaseline out of his eye. Sigurdsson doesn't give a rats ass about fair play and cracks him with a massive hook to the side of the head! McCarty crumples to the floor out cold! The cornerman is going to be in McCarty's bad books for that mishap!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:26 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Ragnar Sigurdsson!
Ragnar Sigurdsson took to the mic in his post fight interview and said 'No Messing I'm came to kill him tonight. No more fucking around, its business from where, and that title will be mine.'.
