Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Kaice Gunn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mikey Moo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mikey Moo has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
22 - 21 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Kaice Gunn! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
16 - 18 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Mikey Moo! The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Topper Green and Summer Carpenter.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Moo moves out of range of the body kick. Moo darts in looking for a takedown but Gunn gets double underhooks and turns Moo into the cage. Moo shoots in and bounces Gunn off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Gunn working a defensive guard here.
Moo pushes down on Gunn's leg and manages to get into half guard. Gunn slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Moo got a little sloppy there for a moment and Gunn has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Moo has managed to get both his arms back between Gunn's legs - danger averted. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Moo chips away with some ground and pound. Gunn looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
We've been hearing good reports from Gunn's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Gunn wants to get back to full guard. Moo is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Gunn sees it coming and defends easily. Moo shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Gunn as he avoids it easily. Nice takedown defense from Moo. No joy for Gunn on that attempt. Moo dives in and grabs Gunn's left leg, looking for a takedown. Gunn pushes down on Moo's head and hops out. Gunn clinches up against the cage. Moo fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Kaice Gunn has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mikey Moo. Gunn misses with a knee to the head. Gunn breaks the clinch.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Gunn with a nice head shot there. Gunn engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Gunn can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Gunn controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Moo had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Gunn defends it easily. Gunn throws a big elbow that misses. Gunn landing some decent shots from guard. Gunn passes easily into side control. Nice work. Gunn is looking to take a break and control but Moo is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Gunn connects with a nice short shot to Moo's temple. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Moo is trying to get back to full guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Kaice Gunn dominated that second round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Gunn lands with a hook. Moo tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Moo shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Gunn as he avoids it easily. Moo fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Moo throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Gunn's waist but Gunn gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Moo off to one side. Kaice Gunn has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mikey Moo. Gunn stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Gunn wants it to stay on the feet. Moo moves out of range as Gunn throws a body kick.
Gunn darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Gunn looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Moo with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Moo moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Moo lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.
Moo drops back, looking for a kneebar! Gunn looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Gunn looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Gunn!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Gunn goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Moo rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Gunn's guard! Nice work there by Moo! Gunn is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Moo is aware though and is defending well. Moo avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
