Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Nick Alvarez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tyler Rexar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rexar is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Big Shit Poppin'. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 4 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Leandro Rodrigues and Luis Engracia.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Alvarez forces Rexar back against the cage and clinches.

Tyler Rexar showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Alvarez is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Alvarez perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.

Rexar is looking to regain full guard. He's left an arm up in the air though and Alvarez has latched onto it... Big trouble! Alvarez pivots for an armbar - it's in tight and it Rexar is tapping in no time flat! Great counter grappling there from Alvarez!
