Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Russ Otis! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Harry Sachz! The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Radbod Blank and Patrick Alders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Otis falls off balance throwing a combination
and Sachz counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Sachz is nestled in close to Otis, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Sachz passes to full mount! Sachz sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Sachz has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Sachz landing strikes from the mount and Otis is in trouble! Sachz connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Otis is rocked! Sachz has hold of an arm here, looking to extend it. He's committed to the armbar attempt here! Will he get it?! Yes! Otis is forced to tap!
