Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Fletcher Moran!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Daniel Ramos!
The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, John Roberts and Bruno Lombardi.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Moran gets tackled into the cage by Ramos. Ramos maintains the clinch.
Ramos prevents a body shot from Moran.

Ramos has Moran pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Ramos pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Moran tumbling to the mat - Ramos dives into Moran's guard.
Ramos looking to sit in guard and control but Moran gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Moran lands a couple of digs.
Ramos looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Moran puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.

Moran is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Moran has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Ramos manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Moran keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage.

Ramos works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Ramos with a flurry of punches that miss.

Moran avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Ramos throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Ramos stops Moran from standing up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Ramos trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Ramos prevents Moran from getting back to his feet.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Ramos rushes Moran and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Ramos has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Moran regains guard immediately.

Moran has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Ramos has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage.
Moran struggles to land a body shot inside as Ramos controls his hands.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Ramos gets a trip takedown into half guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Moran tries to kick Ramos off but Ramos keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Ramos trying to control the action but Moran is working from the bottom.
Ramos slips a nice elbow through Moran's hands, connecting with Moran's forehead.
Moran is pressing down on Ramos's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.

Ramos won't allow Moran to sweep him here.
Moran keeping moving, preventing Ramos from controlling successfully.

Ramos working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Moran's head.

Moran uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Daniel Ramos seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Ramos closes the distance and pushes Moran back into the cage.

Ramos gets a trip takedown into half guard.
Moran trying to control here.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Moran really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Moran taking some punishment here, with Ramos in his half guard.
Moran is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Ramos's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Ramos's back!

Ramos looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment.

Moran looking to break Ramos's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Ramos remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Moran will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!

I really don't envy Ramos right now.
