Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Joey Karate (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Morgan Wade (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wade has chosen This Means War as his entrance music. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Joey Karate!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Morgan Wade!
The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Mauricio Rocha and Matheus Silva.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wade throws the kick towards the body but Karate avoids it.
Karate fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Karate shoots for a double leg takedown but Wade sprawls well. He's pushed Karate's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Wade doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter.
Karate tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Wade swivels and escapes.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Joey Karate. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Karate shoots in for a takedown but Wade shows good takedown defense.
Karate misses with a head kick.
Wade feints a counter leg kick.
Karate misses with a straight right.
Wade is looking to clinch.
Karate wants to clinch up but Wade keeps it at a distance.
Karate pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Wade lands a big head kick that sends Karate tumbling to the mat! Wade takes a step backwards and waves Karate back to his feet - he wants the finish!
It looks like Joey Karate has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Wade lands a brutal head kick. Karate looks out on his feet and Wade throws more strikes until the ref is forced to stop the fight!
