Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Alex Snow!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Frank Hammar!
The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Paulo Santos and Leandro Rodrigues.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Snow throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Snow moves away from the strike by Hammar.
Hammar avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Snow swinging wildly here.
Hammar shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Snow goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.


It looks like Frank Hammar has been cut.
No joy there for Snow, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Snow misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Snow tries to clinch there but Hammar circles away.
Snow misses with a head kick.
Hammar avoids a punch combination nicely.
A punch combination from Snow misses.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Snow lands a high kick!
Hammar blocks a head kick by Snow.
Hammar connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Snow throws a head kick but Hammar moves out of range.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Snow throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.

Snow moves into the clinch.
Hammar using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Snow has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Hammar is pressed up against the cage. Snow has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Hammar down to the mat. Hammar avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Snow looks to throw a body kick
and Hammar counters with a nice body shot.
Snow is breathing heavily.
Hammar lands with a cross.
Snow takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Hammar lands a glancing blow to the side of Snow's head.


It looks like Alex Snow has been cut.
Snow throws a sloppy head kick and Hammar moves out of range easily.

Hammar closes the distance and clinches.
Snow is looking to break free of the clinch but Hammar has double underhooks.
Hammar with a knee to the head.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Hammar lands a good knee to the midsection. Snow won't want to take too many of those.
Hammar lands a left hand.
Hammar lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Hammar stalling.
Hammar misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Snow.
Snow blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.

Hammar drops Snow with a big knee straight up the middle! Snow is covering up against the cage but manages to escape and gets back to his feet!


Snow is rocked!
Hammar changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Oh Snow is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Hammar scores with a jab to the body.
Snow seems to have got his legs back now.
Snow bobbing and weaving nicely... He's ducked under a jab and ducks again but ooooooh! Hammar comes at him with an uppercut from hell! Snow falls to the canvas, unconscious! This one is all over! Oh man, looking at the replay that was right on the button! Snow was out before he hit the floor!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Frank Hammar!
Our winner, Frank Hammar, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
