Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between James Rodgers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jason Bishop (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rodgers comes to the cage accompanied by Right Now - Korn. James Rodgers is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, James Rodgers! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jason Bishop ! The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Tiny Johnson and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rodgers tries to clinch but Bishop moves out of range. Rodgers scores a takedown into full mount! Bishop is in all sorts of trouble here.
Rodgers stands up from mount. Strange move. A punch combination from Rodgers misses. Rodgers bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Rodgers scoring with punches and elbows. Bishop is looking to reverse the position. Rodgers stands up. Bishop should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Bishop misses with a takedown and Rodgers counters with a nice double leg into side control. Bishop won't be happy with that. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Bishop is looking for a sweep. Bishop is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Rodgers is one step ahead and moves to full mount!
That's one minute gone in the round. Rodgers is dominating on the ground here - he's now on his opponent's back, looking to sink in the hooks. Bishop is in real trouble.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Bishop fending off the submission attempt from Rodgers. Rodgers will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Rodgers controlling from the back. Bishop staying busy and making it hard for Rodgers to control. Rodgers lands a shot to the head. Bishop is trying to break free.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bishop defends a rear naked choke attempt by controlling one of Rodgers's arms. Rodgers controlling the position well here. Bishop rolled but Rodgers kept the hooks locked in and stayed in the dominant position.
Rodgers is breathing heavily. Bishop tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell! Bishop flailing away with punches but nothing is landing.
Bishop can't escape the position.
Rodgers stands up from the dominant position, so we're back on the feet. Rodgers doesn't manage to clinch there - Bishop circles away.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rodgers rushes Bishop and presses him up against the cage. Rodgers breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Rodgers looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Bishop ! Rodgers stands up from the dominant position, so we're back on the feet. Rodgers fails to land with a series of punches.
Rodgers darts in and clinches Bishop up against the cage. Rodgers breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bishop gets caught flat footed, as Rodgers shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Rodgers has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Rodgers is pushing down on Bishop 's leg trying to pass to half guard. Bishop is fighting to maintain full guard but Rodgers has managed to sneak the leg through. Rodgers slows the pace down in half guard. Rodgers lands with a punch from half guard. Rodgers escapes and gets back to his feet. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Bishop gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Rodgers decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
James Rodgers dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Rodgers fails with the takedown. Rodgers throws a right and a left that both miss. Rodgers misses with a head kick.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bishop blocks a head kick by Rodgers.
Rodgers with a poor takedown and Bishop counters with a nice double leg into side control. Rodgers won't be happy with that. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Rodgers sneaks back into half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rodgers trying to hold on to Bishop 's head to control him but Bishop postures up.
Bishop is trying to work for a kimura. He's got his hands clasped together - this could be trouble! No, Rodgers has managed to free his arm - good work. Rodgers is looking to escape. Bishop is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Bishop is trying to work for a kimura but Rodgers is defending well.
Rodgers has one foot on Bishop 's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Rodgers shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Rodgers controlling from the full mount. Bishop looking to escape from mount but he's given up his back!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rodgers slows the pace down here. Having a little breather whilst he's in a dominant position, looking to rest and regain some energy, ready to go for the finish.
Rodgers lands strikes to the head. What can Bishop do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!
Rodgers has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Bishop has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
Rodgers is landing with strikes from the back. Rodgers is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Bishop has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here. James Rodgers overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Rodgers keeps control of the position as Bishop tries to break free.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Rodgers landing with strikes. Rodgers lands shots from the back. You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.

James Rodgers dominated that second round. That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!
Rodgers closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Bishop to the mat! Bishop manages to get full guard. Rodgers advances to half guard. Rodgers is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Bishop is just riding it out for now. Rodgers eventually gives up the hold. Rodgers is looking for submissions but instead, Bishop has regained full guard.
Bishop being controlled here, momentarily. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Bishop has his foot on Rodgers's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Rodgers works his way back into a safe position though.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rodgers not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Rodgers works a leg free and moves into half guard. Bishop looking for submissions off his back. Rodgers tries to pass the half guard into mount. Bishop knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Rodgers slows the pace down in half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Rodgers decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet. Rodgers thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Bishop if he has to take too many more of those.
James Rodgers is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Rodgers closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Rodgers lands in his opponent's guard. Bishop is working an open guard so Rodgers takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Rodgers tries to close the distance and clinch but Bishop swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Bishop dodges the punch combination from Rodgers.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rodgers lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Rodgers fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Bishop sprawls well initially but Rodgers persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Rodgers not doing much here.
Rodgers is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Jason Bishop has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Rodgers stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Bishop to get to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Rodgers tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Bishop paws at him with a jab and circles away. James Rodgers seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Rodgers gets a takedown into half guard. Rodgers stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being. Rodgers pulls out of a head kick attempt.
James Rodgers is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Rodgers drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
And that's the end of the fight! James Rodgers showed his dominance in that final round. Well Rodgers has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
