Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between George Ciz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Koya Molar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, George Ciz! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Koya Molar! The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Robert Twigg and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ciz tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Ciz misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Molar throws a right hand that Ciz ducks under and follows up with a left that Ciz also avoids with ease. Koya Molar seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Ciz throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body. Molar chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Ciz can pounce on him.

and Ciz counters with a shoot takedown. Molar fights it but they end up in guard. Molar can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Ciz controls the pace. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Ciz wants to control from the top but Molar keeps moving. Ciz stops Molar from standing up. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Ciz trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Molar preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Molar is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Ciz has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Ciz wants to control but Molar is keeping busy and won't allow it. Molar seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Still in half guard, Molar seems content to control. Ciz looking for submissions off his back. Molar wants to lay and pray for a moment but Ciz keeps working. Ciz tries to roll over but Molar keeps him under control. Molar wants to control but Ciz is keeping him busy. Ciz is trying is best to control the position here. Ciz is looking for a sweep. Molar is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Molar seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Molar is looking to stall here but Ciz recovers full guard. Molar stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Ciz swivels though and keeps the full guard. Molar wants to stand but Ciz has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Ciz is trying to control the position but Molar postures up.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Molar throws a hook to the side of Ciz's head but Ciz sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Ciz thinks about countering with a body kick. Molar lands with a nice body punch. Ciz jabs Molar to the body, keeping him at a distance. Molar misses with an uppercut
so Ciz counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Ciz not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Molar wants to stand and escape but Ciz is having none of it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ciz trying to control but Molar is working from the bottom. Ciz slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Ciz trying to control but Molar is working from the bottom. Molar is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Ciz postures up.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Ciz tries to free his leg and advance position but Molar is retaining full guard. Ciz trying to control the position from guard on top but Molar is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Horrible takedown attempt by Ciz or perhaps it was just good defense by Molar, which made it look bad. Molar swings for the body but Ciz moves out of range.

and Ciz decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Molar's guard. Ciz throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Molar works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Molar keeping moving, preventing Ciz from controlling successfully. Molar wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Ciz manages to pass to side control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
George Ciz dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Ciz cracks a nice hook into Molar's ribs. Molar missing with a left hand there. Ciz was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Ciz gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Molar is trying to break free. A battle for position here, against the cage. Molar has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ciz's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. The fighters circling - Molar throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Molar ducks under a wild hook from Ciz. George Ciz is winning the standup battle so far. Ciz lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.

That's one minute gone in the round. Molar closes the distance and clinches up with Ciz, looking for a takedown. Molar pushes Ciz against the cage but Ciz circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Ciz tried to counter with a leg kick but Molar avoided it. Ciz misses with a few strikes there.
Molar shoots for a double leg takedown but Ciz sprawls well. He's pushed Molar's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Ciz looked to counter with a high kick but didn't commit. Molar throws a right hand that Ciz ducks under and follows up with a left that Ciz also avoids with ease. Molar misses with an uppercut
and Ciz counters with a nice double leg into side control. Molar won't be happy with that. Molar is not content to let Ciz control the position. Ciz connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Molar some visible discomfort.

Ciz wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Molar, who protects the arm well. Ciz is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Molar is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Molar is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Ciz has just dragged him back down to the mat. Ciz throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage. Ciz is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Molar has escaped the position, nice work there. Molar can't do much from the bottom here. Ciz just content to control the position. Ciz working away. Molar is not content to let Ciz control the position. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Ciz tries for a kimura but Molar is defending well.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Molar parries the strikes from Ciz easily there. Ciz is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Molar to escape.
Molar is working to avoid the ground and pound but Ciz connects with a decent elbow. Ciz working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter. Molar is not content to let Ciz control the position. Molar is trying to get back to half guard. Molar wants to get back to his feet. Ciz looks up at the clock and then as Molar takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Ciz smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

That's four minutes gone in the round. Ciz is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Molar defends it well. Ciz lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Ciz seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Molar does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Molar keeping hold of Ciz's head, controlling as best he can. Ciz trying to control the pace. Ciz is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Molar can do to turn this around? The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Ciz thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Molar's head. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Ciz looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger. Ciz tries to land a front kick but Molar steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Molar keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Ciz steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Molar. Molar looks to score with a jab to the body but Ciz is just out of range. Koya Molar has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Molar shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Ciz as he jumps to the side. Ciz drops down looking for a counter takedown but Molar sprawls and moves away. Molar steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Ciz. That one must have hurt. Molar throws a hook to the side of Ciz's head but Ciz sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Molar throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Ciz. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Ciz. Ciz lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
