Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Monty Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alex Horvat (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Monty Brown! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Alex Horvat! The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Anni Minnemäki and Tarja Halkonen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Brown dives in and scores a takedown into Horvat's guard. Horvat managing to control the position. Horvat looking to hit a scissor sweep but Brown is one step ahead there. Horvat pulls Brown in close to prevent any damage. Brown postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Brown is fighting to break Horvat's control of his arms but Horvat is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Brown working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Horvat's head. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Horvat preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Horvat looking for subs off his back but Brown has passed one foot through into half guard.
It looks like Brown is going to stand back up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Horvat controlling the position for now. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Horvat wants to get back to full guard. Brown not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Horvat makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Horvat. Horvat controlling Brown's posture. Horvat looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Brown working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Horvat's head. Horvat has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Horvat's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Brown throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Horvat gets a double leg takedown into Brown's guard. Brown has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Horvat is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position. Brown pulls guard successfully.
Brown is trying to control the position but Horvat postures up. Horvat keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Brown's head. Brown keeping moving, preventing Horvat from controlling successfully. Brown is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Horvat is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Brown is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Horvat postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Horvat with a nice head shot there. This has been an exciting period of action! Horvat forces his way into half guard. Brown flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Horvat connects with a nice short shot to Brown's temple. Brown is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Horvat scores with a couple of nice shots. Horvat scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
Brown is rocked! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Monty Brown dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Brown throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Horvat was covering up waiting for the punch and Brown finishes the takedown easily into guard. Horvat has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Horvat looking for a sweep. Not yet Horvat, not yet. Horvat pulls Brown in close to prevent any damage. Brown landing some decent shots from guard. Brown throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Horvat works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Brown is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Horvat can do to turn this around? We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Horvat has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Brown accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Brown wanted to stand there but Horvat had control of the position. Horvat looking to hit a scissor sweep but Brown is one step ahead there.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Horvat has Brown pulled in close to control his posture.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Brown thuds his right hand into Horvat's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Brown gets caught napping as Horvat dives in and scores a takedown. Brown manages to retain guard. Brown working for a triangle but Horvat defends it easily.
Horvat postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Horvat trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Horvat working some strikes from top position. Horvat lands a couple of elbows. Horvat lands a couple of decent looking shots. Horvat postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Oh Brown is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Horvat postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Horvat loads up on a big left hand. Brown felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Horvat looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Brown can't hide his disappointment, as Horvat celebrates the victory.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:43 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Alex Horvat!
