Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Paul Crewe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rauno Porsaankorva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Crewe comes to the cage accompanied by The Longest Yard. On his way into the cage it seems that Paul Crewe has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Paul Crewe seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Paul Crewe!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rauno Porsaankorva!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, George Francis and Robert Twigg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck for Porsaankorva with that takedown attempt.
Oooh a lovely combination from Crewe sends Porsaankorva down but not out. Crewe dives into side control looking to finish.


Porsaankorva is rocked!


It looks like Rauno Porsaankorva has been cut.
Crewe trying to control the action but Porsaankorva is working from the bottom.
Porsaankorva is still in real trouble! Can Crewe finish him?
Porsaankorva is looking to regain half guard here but Crewe keeps moving and retains side control.
Crewe has control of an arm but Porsaankorva manages to advance to Crewe's back!
Porsaankorva seems to have recovered his senses.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Crewe controlling well, preventing Porsaankorva from escaping the position.

Porsaankorva rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.
Porsaankorva tries to get to full guard but Crewe has control of the leg.
Porsaankorva moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Porsaankorva has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Crewe has passed into side control.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Crewe uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Porsaankorva shoots in for a takedown but Crewe shows good takedown defense.
Crewe keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Porsaankorva.
Porsaankorva ducks straight into an uppercut from Crewe and tumbles to the canvas! It’s a flash knockdown though - Porsaankorva maanges to regain guard straight away.
Porsaankorva is pulling down on Crewe's head. It's preventing any offense from Crewe, at least for the moment.
Crewe wants to pass the guard but Porsaankorva is keeping the position.

Crewe drops back looking for a leg! Porsaankorva is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Porsaankorva manages to kick Crewe off! Crewe jumps back into Porsaankorva's guard.
Porsaankorva lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Crewe!

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Crewe is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Porsaankorva controlling from the full mount.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Paul Crewe dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Rauno Porsaankorva's cut.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Porsaankorva shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Crewe will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Porsaankorva bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
A slow jab from Crewe misses its intended target.
Porsaankorva looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Crewe is fending him off so far but Porsaankorva persists. Nope, Crewe circles away and we're back to standing.
Crewe connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Porsaankorva walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Crewe getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Porsaankorva fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Paul Crewe has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rauno Porsaankorva.
Crewe drops Porsaankorva with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Porsaankorva! Crewe dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:43 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Paul Crewe!
