Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Al Capone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Iglesias (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mike Iglesias is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Al Capone! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Mike Iglesias! The judges for this bout are David Hoff, Santiago Holmes and Michael Johnstone.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Iglesias moves into the clinch. Both fighters working to control the clinch. Capone drops down looking for an ankle pick but Iglesias pulls his leg out and moves away.
A chopping leg kick lands by Capone. Capone fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Iglesias gets a clinch. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Iglesias can't break the clinch.

Capone has been working on his balance at Cozad The Island, so perhaps that has help him stuff some of the takedown attempts by Iglesias. Iglesias shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Iglesias showed some decent athleticism there. Capone works his way to full guard. Good work. Iglesias gets to his feet - Capone follows without any prompting. Capone shoots and misses and Capone is countered with a crisp right hand from Iglesias that sends him to the canvas! Iglesias follows him to the mat into side control.
It looks like Al Capone has been cut. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Iglesias has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Iglesias has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Iglesias just misses with a punch to the body.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Capone. Iglesias feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Iglesias wants to get up but he can't break Capone's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Capone tries to clinch and Iglesias counters with a monster hook and another for good measure! Capone falls to the ground, out cold! Stick some heavy metal music over the top of that clip and it's one for the highlight makers!
