Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Mase Marshall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kake Buck (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Marshall's entrance music is Buju Banton - Murderer. A fine choice. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mase Marshall!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kake Buck!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Gwen Towbar and George Francis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Buck shoots in looking for a takedown. Marshall tries to sprawl out of it but Buck keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Marshall manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Marshall clinches with his opponent.
Buck is trying to break the clinch but Marshall has him pressed against the cage.
Buck takes a knee right on the jaw!
Buck wants to break the clinch but can't.
Marshall is trying to stall.
Buck gets underhooks to prevent Marshall's takedown attempt.
Buck is trying to break the clinch but Marshall has him pressed against the cage.
Buck wants to break free but Marshall has control.

Buck wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
The is referee keeping an eye on Marshall - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.

Marshall using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Buck has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Marshall connects with a knee to the head.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Buck can't break the clinch.
Marshall connects with a nasty looking knee right to Buck's face.

Marshall ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Marshall no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Marshall lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Buck!

Marshall has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Marshall is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Buck has managed to escape the submission attempt.

Marshall is going olschool here, as he tries to force Buck to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Buck shrugs it off.
Buck really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Marshall lands a big elbow.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Marshall prevents Buck from getting the reversal.

Marshall is standing up out of mount! Strange tactic there - he must really want this one on the feet!

Marshall closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Marshall stands up from half guard.
Kake Buck seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Marshall feints and as Buck raises his hands in defense, Marshall changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Marshall would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Buck wants to sweep here but Marshall controlling him for the moment.
Marshall controls from within his opponent's guard.

Marshall avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Buck looking for a sweep. Not yet Buck, not yet.

Marshall gets to his feet - Buck follows without any prompting.

Marshall shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Marshall was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Buck tries to improve his position but Marshall has taken his back! Marshall has a choke - it's sunk in pretty tight... Will Buck tap? No... maybe... yes! He's tapped! Marshall pushes Buck away and gets up to celebrate with his corner!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Mase Marshall!
