Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Hon mo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Deair Shaw (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Deair Shaw looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

mo looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Shaw looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Shaw can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as mo controls the pace.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
mo seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Shaw for as long as he can get away with.

mo is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

mo gets to his feet - Shaw follows without any prompting.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Shaw has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
A slapping body kick lands there for mo.
Hon mo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Shaw dives in for a single leg takedown but mo sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

mo gets a takedown into half guard.

mo slips a nice elbow through Shaw's hands, connecting with Shaw's forehead.
mo is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, mo cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
