Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Stefan Nikolov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sacha Makharov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Fedor Mirinova, Sergei Dronov and Aleksandr Martynov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Makharov swats away the attempt to clinch by Nikolov.
Nikolov wants to clinch up but Makharov keeps it at a distance.
Makharov lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Nikolov wants to clinch.
Nikolov gets the takedown into side control.
Makharov really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Nikolov. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Nikolov stands up.
Nikolov is looking to clinch but Makharov is avoiding it.
Makharov scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Nikolov throws a right hand that Makharov ducks under and follows up with a left that Makharov also avoids with ease.
Left hook, right uppercut from Makharov.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Makharov shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Makharov is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Nikolov can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Makharov tries to control but Nikolov wriggling away.

Makharov cracks Nikolov with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Makharov connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
That's one minute gone in the round.
The referee warns Nikolov that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

Nikolov tries to reverse the position but Makharov maintains control.
Makharov landing punches.
Nikolov is breathing heavily.
Nikolov is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Makharov can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Nikolov is looking to escape.
BOOM! Makharov connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Nikolov is trying to escape the mount.
Makharov cracks Nikolov with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Nikolov is wriggling around trying to escape.
Makharov lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Nikolov tries to lock up and control but Makharov gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Nikolov is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Makharov is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
Makharov with a couple of short strikes.
Makharov is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Nikolov can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Nikolov is in a horrible position here. Makharov smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Nikolov tries to hold on but Makharov postures up.
Makharov looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
Nikolov is rocked!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Makharov lands a heavy shot. That's hurt Nikolov! Makharov sees the opportunity and turns up the heat - strike after strike land to the defenseless Nikolov and the ref dives in to save him! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Sacha Makharov!
