The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Paul looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Paul seems to be looking for submissions.
Ank wants to get back to full guard.
Ank is controlling Paul's position as best he can from this difficult position.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ank throws a strike from the bottom that misses.

Paul really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Ank tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Paul presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!
Paul will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Paul is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Ank can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

Paul has the rear naked choke here! This is very bad for Ank! Can he survive? No! He's out! Paul gets to his feet and celebrates with his cornermen. He looks absolutely delighted. In the post fight interviews he takes time to thank his parents and everyone who has believed in him from the start. How sweet.
